These garage storage cabinets are an experiment in building European-style cabinets and drawers, and in using a stacked rail-and-stile cutter on the router table. The carcasses are Melamine, the drawer boxes are 1/2" Baltic birch plywood, the drawer fronts are 3/4" oak plywood trimmed in solid oak, and the doors are 3/4" solid oak frames and 1/4" oak plywood panels. The hardware is Mepla-Alfit cup hinges and drawer slides. The finish is Minwax Polyshades Light Oak, which is a stain/polyurethane combination, and it works surprisingly well.
