Picture Frames

I build picture frames continuously for Maylee's photographs.

I build the frames using V-nails and I have a tool for driving them. Most often, I use scrap maple, poplar, or alder. I usually finish the frames with lacquer tinted with the desired color—usually black or brown—using TransTint dyes.

We have a large mat cutter and a point driver, so Maylee can do archival framing for about $25 per frame.
