This trestle table and bench are more items in the "melamine collection;" see the End Tables for details. The ends are made from two pieces of melamine laminated together to form a 1.5" thick trestle legs, which are quite heavy. The stretchers are attached with lag bolts, which, unfortunately, I left uncovered. The exposed wood is softwood and maple, finished by the owners with a satin polyurethane.
