On the last day of our tour, we had a "break" in the weather and ventured into the alpine for a few runs. Here, we're above Megahoped Trees just shy of Wonderland. We're waiting for Josh to cut a track down into the trees.

In deep snow, Josh had an energy-saving tip for cutting a track: he skied on one ski and let the other sort of drag in the snow. As a result, he didn't have to move as much snow. I tried it several times, including here (because I was first , again :-) and it works quite well.
