This solid maple table is only 13" high. The finish is a Minwax pine stain followed by 2 coats of gloss polyurethane and 3 coats of satin polyurethane. The pine pigment stain blotched in some places even after a Benite pre-treatment. From now on, I'll use a dye stain on maple, birch and similar woods.
